Hey, welcome
You should be able to change it on the user control panel > Profile > Edit Avatar
The image does have to obey certain rules:
"Maximum dimensions; width: 150 pixels, height: 150 pixels, file size: 54.00 KiB."

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Thanks. For me it's Capcom beat em ups and Raizing/Toaplan shmups. I already have some Capcom boards on the way. I'm not sure if i'll ever be able to afford something like Armed Police Batrider, but at least I can emulate!ChrisBEANS wrote: ↑December 15th, 2023, 12:19 pmCongrats and welcome. Re: Introduce yourself here!
I'm Christopher, 35 years old, a fan of video games since my childhood, I'm reconnecting with this passion, which I had abandoned, since the advent of the PlayStation 3.
Nowadays, it is fascinating to find machines that are 20 years old or more, being revised and optimized, to obtain an ultimate console.
so I recently acquired a Candy Cab Sega New Astro City , PS1 with the Xstation, a Saturn with the Fenrir, a PC Engine, a dreamcast with the Gdemu, an Original Xbox, and finally a PS2 that I found at my parents' house which I equipped with an HDD.
Glad to join you and see you soon on the forum!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi there!
(apologize for my English).
I'm David. I live in northern France.
Although I am nearly 51 old and knew the arcade golden age (from early 80's to late 90's), it is only very recently that I bought my first two arcade cabinets (around a year ago): a refurbished NewAstroCity and a custom one, specially designed to enjoy games in "tate" format.
Since then, I carefully monitor forums focused on arcade PCBs, hoping to get those games that profoundly affected my childhood.
I hold a special affection for Capcom CPS0 boards ("Hissatsu Buraiken", "Top Secret", "Side Arms", ...), Sega System 1, 2, 16 & 32 ("Wonder Boy", "Fantasy Zone", "Revenge of the Death Ader", ...), the famous Toaplan shmups ("Tatsujin Oh", "Batsugun", "Out Zone", ...) and like every arcade lovers, so much more!
I am sure it is not to late (I'm not really that old yet) to benefit from the pleasures that arcade brings and have time to strengthen my PCB collection along with acquiring some nice Japanese cabinets and, most important, sharing this passion with arcade lovers.
David.

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi all,
I'm pja, and I've been generally more interested in older games since a while ago, but recently I got more into the arcade side of things, mostly shmups. Currently I don't own any PCBs or anything (although that might change since I'm getting increasingly interested in it), lately I'm mostly playing Saturn ports of shmups on a CRT with an arcade stick.
I sadly have never been in the actual arcade, living in a rural place as a kid, and arcades are already mostly dead by the time I am an adult, but hopefully that eventually changes as well

Welcome Joe. Astro Cities are CPS2 bliss imo, and not too hard to find.
Maybe £1000-£1400 private sale (heavily dependent on condition), or €1,895 + shipping fees via Rklok (join his mailing list, he's had quite a few recently): http://www.rklok.nl

Nice collection Badar.
Can't go wrong with a Saturn, stick and CRT as an arcade substitute.pja wrote: ↑January 7th, 2024, 6:51 pm Hi all,

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi I'm Rob, I’ve been looking on this website for a while and now I’m a first-time user. I’ve been into retro for years and predominately Neo Geo AES, and am looking to get my first arcade machine (hopefully a Neo Geo MVS) at some point hopefully (as it was the first arcade machine I played on back in the day and made me love arcades, and I want my boys to play on as well:)). Any advice would be great and I look forward to chatting to you all at some point about all things arcade:).
