Very cool.

The lever on the Konami Game Zone One / GO-800 is apparently for rotating the monitor :wtf:

2 screen mahjong cab is wild, would any other game actually use that setup?

There's at least two Dynax mahjong games that support the double screen cab, Jong Tou Ki and Jong Yu Ki.

Also it's almost a Pony 25 Mark II clone. But it's got a DAMN good build quality.

I quite like the Tecmo. Like a cross between a Pony and a SNK? The marquee holder (?) though must have been something that broke easily; it seems to be missing on the other pictures except for the last one.

Is/was it usual to have only one stool for a two player panel cab? Judging from the flyer there is a single and two player version of the cab and the 2P ones all have only one stool in the pictures below. So if all cabs are being used and @ at least one cab two are playing, someone will be standing in the middle of the place wondering where to sit.

Like a lot of the Tecmo stuff they're mostly woodies. Also the Lava stuff is usually one of those dagashii type woodie cab I keep seeing I think, I do think they are the most beautiful type of japanese arcade cabs but man, people seem to go more for the plastic/metal stuff.

Oh the marquee holder on the Sound Lava is literally the same one on the other Lavas.

Added Tecmo/Tehkan to the list for Sunder^^

There is a Tehkan lava clone made by Valadon Automation, a French company that worked with Tecmo in the 80s.
It is the Valadon Prestige the height of the feet is adjustable with 2 positions. Here are some photos.

Awesome pictures, thanks for sharing these. I wish more of them would show up in the wild; I'm sure most were destroyed. Love the unique designs; so much charm in those early 80s cabs.
