This is some great work saving a cab in a very dire state. Good on you for trying to save that power supply PCB, too - I'm a little surprised the traces were able to be saved.

Well i'm going to update this thread...add some photo's , but every photo i upload is this daft postage size photo..last time i uploaded earlier in the thread my photo's were much bigger!?. ..i use the same photobucket.

So many metal panels to separately prepare ,sand-prime-paint!..but i'm finally there!
And a BIG THANK YOU To Olly for scanning & making every decal on this Domy!...superb quality...literally the cherry on top!
It took me AGES to clean the gunk & sticky of that black rubber foot mat...but it came up a treat & only a few ciggy burns on it.
Not to forget ALBERTO!!...Your panels are the best my friend & i'll be buying more soon!!...completed my project perfectly

'NOTE' look to the LEFT of the rotation sticker/there's a flat piece of metal 'support' for CP..the paint looks to be mottled, i'm anal and its just the reflection in the monitor support in front of it!...2nd photo off bottom with sliver monitor sticker.

I was not really impressed with the white plastic decal they fit over the control panel from factory...every one i see, and pang will vouch...are cig burned cracked and damaged to buggery...so i just painted mine in 2K which is a much tougher finish, and tbh looks far,far better.
The sticky left was a REAL PITA to get off/remove~ even with thinners...until i remembered i had a couple of caramel wheels in my tool box!..forgot i had them, old age i guess!
So removing took just 5 minutes...great those caramel wheels!...here-

General condition inside and that was after a quick clean!..after i repaired the monitor first to see what we had to work with!

Minor Details finished off tonight...phew!...this one seemed to take forever, i had to get my finger out, as already on with my next Candy!.
I'm very proud of this one...been running it everyday this week/evening tests & plays!.
I fixed the coin mechanism...so i only play when 100 Y is inserted...'Gotta love that clink as the coin rolls into the cash box!'....blimey need to buy more yen!

Thanks lads...used to have a really good camera ..but went faulty, these are taken on a cheap huawei 13mp camera..only one i have.
I need to buy a decent slr again.

Some photo's won't upload...i'll try tomorrow..
Again...a special mention & a BIG thanks to Olly 'decals' perfect job mate!.. and of course Alberto for supplying the ultra high quality Control panel!!...worth every penny.
