thanks! by the way, 'pro-tip' about BVMs - if you ever see one listed with a ding in the screen, it may well actually just be in the thick plastic protective layer that Sony used to cover the screens with - and these can be removed. that's how I got mine for about half the going rate, as everyone else was too scared to bid...

*of course, it may actually be that the screen is buggered, so take my words with a pinch of salt :P

I was using a Bang and Olufsen crt which was pretty good for the last few years. This is definitely a step up in quality, only downside is the speaker is a bit crappy.
