I'm working on something right now and need to know what the dimensions of the Sega CPs are.
I assume they are the same from Astro through to Naomi?
Also, does someone have a direct top view pic of an Astro CP?
Thanks guys!

Re: Sega CP Dimensions?
I found this somewhere ages ago, I certainly can't take credit for making it - but kept a copy:
http://kirurg.org/arcade/img/SegaCPTemplate.psd
It's a high quality photoshop file of the astro overlay - I believe it's "perfect" so you should be able to take any measurements you need from it.

Re: Sega CP Dimensions?
I think I posted that on killercabs a while back.
If you're looking for the original link, it's here:

I'm thinking I might do the "instruction space" card next... or perhaps the "Flat Square 29" top billboard. The colors on mine are pretty faded.

Re: Sega CP Dimensions?
For sure it's yours, great work! I think I found it via some french forum. I'm using it as a template for a custom CP:

Had a look at your site, (and off-topicing this thread) - do you use a pic18f2550 on your controller board?

Re: Sega CP Dimensions?
Heh, thanks. I guess this thing must have gotten around!
Your MK template looks very kickass, I must say. That's exactly what I was hoping people would do when I uploaded the thing - using it as a starting point for their own creation.
Oh, and as for the controller board, you're almost right. That was a good guess, but it's actually a pic18f2450. The 2550 didn't really have much of an advantage other than extra program memory, if I recall correctly, and I was trying to keep costs down. Unfortunately, sales have been pretty low, which is a shame because I think it has some neat features that competing products don't, like joystick to mouse conversion. Of course, since the firmware is flashable, I was thinking about repurposing some of them as either a USB dev platform, or maybe a programmable MIDI controller.
